Emulators

What are emulators? In a nutshell emulators are applications that simulate/emulate older videogame systems such as PS1, N64, Sega Genesis, Gameboy, GBA, GBC, SNES, NES, Atari 2600, MSX, PCEngine and many others. Basically with these you can increase the possibilities of gaming with your Phonejoy by many times.

There are plenty of emulators available on Android, we have published a few key setup guides for a selected few. Most emulators work with Phonejoy as all of them support keyboard input. Unlike most native Android games these will need to be set within the game, so your Bluez-IME configuration will matter little to nothing.

If you have never used an emulator before we recommend that you have a look at some of these guides:

YouTube user Wicked4u2c has also uploaded a great video showing you what great emulators there are on Android!

We have also created a few Phonejoy setup guides for some emulators, as you may have already noticed in the left menu. Should you have any trouble with the setup or related technical questions you can always come and ask us and the community in our forums or you can also email us at [email protected]. Please note we cannot help you with rom/game requests or anything related to such.
